A project a friend and I started. Both is both open-source, and hosted online at quickdraw-vs.com. It's a game where you compete to see who's drawing can get classified by a NN first. It was my first time training any NN, and admittedly the code was pretty bad. I used pytorch for the model and we went with fastAPI as a backend since it was pretty easy to pick up. I mostly focused on the model, frontend drawing, and collaborated on system design, but I think both of us touched all areas of the project.
This project is just a placeholder until I can be bothered to add the rest of my projects. Fun fact: this is actually the 3rd(.5) iteration of this website. I think I started the design for it over 3 years ago, and it went from a little JS, to React, to now no JS. I tried to always keep it monotone and always wanted it to show off a bit of creativity. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out now, the animations are a bit overkill, especially when I'm going for the simple website vibe.
